As the holidays are upon us, I am grateful that Jack is part of our family. We adopted Jack as a puppy in July 2008. We had lost our dear Corgi, Lizzy, in February and our hearts were empty. Jack was just the perfect cure for our heartache. I know that Lizzy would have approved.
Jack was one of five puppies – The Doodlebug Five. I know that APRA was a bit apprehensive about placing a puppy in our household since my 85 year old mother would have to take care of him while we worked. Jack was so smart – he knew how to behave around her – and they are the best of friends. Not only did Jack get a Mom and a Dad, but two brothers and a Grammy!
