Atlanta Pet Rescue & Adoption is proud to announce a partnership with local pet food retailer, Red Bandanna Natural Pet Food Stores. Starting on June 1, 2008, Red Bandanna Natural Pet Food Stores became the exclusive provider of pet food for the cats, kittens, dogs and puppies awaiting adoption.
|
This partnership represents the annual commitment of a donation valued at over $24,300 from Red Bandanna Natural Pet Food Stores to Atlanta Pet Rescue.
Over the past several years, Red Bandanna Natural Pet Food Stores have become known to us as Atlanta’s source for Super Premium, Natural, Holistic and Organic pet food formulas for dogs and cats. At Atlanta Pet Rescue, we recognize the impact of good nutrition on the overall health and well-being of our animals. Red Bandanna Natural Pet Food Stores use only the finest quality of human-grade, nutritional ingredients. Never again will we need to supplement our pets' diets with vitamins or minerals—everything they need is in the food!
In addition to providing food for all of our pets awaiting adoption, Red Bandanna Natural Pet Food Stores have also agreed to donate one free bag of pet food to each adopter, along with coupons for additional food, treats and identification tags. The are also offering all Atlanta Pet Rescue volunteers a discount on in-store purchases.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to Red Bandanna Natural Pet Food Stores, for their generous commitment to Atlanta Pet Rescue, and their concern for the health and nutrition of all pets.
If you would like to find out more about how your own pet can benefit from a better diet, visit the Red Bandanna Natural Pet Food Stores web site. |

Ginger
Cute redhead with a slightly skewed view of the world looking for a good home. They call me Ginger, and I guess I’ll go along with that. Everyone who’s ever met me smiles because of my funny face and crossed eyes.
Apparently, no one has bothered to check THE BIG CAT BOOK in Atlanta Pet Rescue office to find out I’m probably an Oriental Shorthair and not some ordinary domestic shorthair.
Anyway, I’m only two years old and ready to find a home with someone who recognizes how incredibly marvelous I am and will treat me accordingly.
For more information about Atlanta Pet Rescue or how to adopt Ginger or any of our 80+ dogs or cats, visit our web site. |

Molly (formerly Holly)
Wow. Time travels so fast when you have a great time in your life. It's been a year now since my Mommie adopted me and took me to my forever home.
It has been a busy year for me, you know the usual doggie stuff: walking, traveling (visits to Grandma and Ruben, my doggie uncle and his dog Tiny, we get along really well), going to the vet (I don't like it but Mommie thinks it's very important!), chasing birds, chasing squirrels, taking baths (I don't like it but Mommie thinks I need them! Oh well I survive!), smelling things, going to the groomer (I don't like it but again Mommie thinks I need it!) playing, napping and eating...and eating and sleeping and playing!!! Busy!!!
I love the food and treats that my Mommie gives me everyday! I am a big girl now and most of the time I am a Good Girl! Mommie says so...she even says I am the best!
Everyday I just can’t wait for my Mommie to come home from work so she can take me out for a walk and also I can meet up with my 3 other best friends Sophie, Zoey and Gussy.

Volunteer Spotlight |

|
|
| |
Each month we will feature one of our outstanding volunteers or foster parents. Our volunteers and foster homes are so important to our organization, and we just can not thank them enough. Fostering a rescue pet is a demanding job and we are so lucky to have such a fine group of volunteers who are up to the challenge of both fostering, and working at our adoption facility as well as at special events. |

Happy Anniversary!
Last Saturday Debbie and Andrew celebrated their 6th anniversary of volunteering and fostering with Atlanta Pet Rescue.
Not only have they been with us almost since the very beginning, but they have been very involved in our success: volunteering almost every Saturday, fostering almost every week, and training our pets that needed a little extra guidance to help them become good candidates for adoption.
Thank you Andrew and Debbie! You have made a difference!
