If you are interested in adopting him please see our “How to Adopt” section and come in to meet him.
Boscoe has an adoption pending.
He might look he just came off the streets, and that isn't too far from the truth. Boscoe's owners could no longer care for him, so he was forced to live in a backyard. He and his pal, Cassidy, are now safe with us at APRA and are going to be treated like pets and not livestock.
Boscoe is a gentle boy and has been incredible with the other dogs. He is very tolerant and interactive with them. He has also been a sweetheart with the staff and volunteers. Boscoe does what is asked of him and happily entertains himself with toys or other dogs when he can't find a 2-legged friend to pal around with.
Boscoe is a very quiet boy and would be a great apartment or condo dog. His previous owners reports he rides well in the car, is leash trained, crate trained and house trained. They also let us know that he is wonderful with children. We know he looks scraggly now, but we are certain with a spiffy do, you won't be able to recognize this boy. We guarantee there are eyes underneath the scruff. Boscoe is ready to call you his own. Come meet him today!
Boscoe did not receive his monthly dose of heartworm prevention and now has the awful parasite. We are going to treat him for his heartworms and make sure he is healthy before going home.
