I think my sister Clementine is right: our “right human” is still out there looking for us. But I admit that I wish they would find us already! My life here at APRA is so much better than the tiny crate I was raised in outdoors – I didn’t even have toys or room to move around or anything! Pfft! – but the absolute best thing for my sister and me will be a real forever home, where we’ll have plenty of room to run around and play and explore: our favorite activities in the whole world!

I am a lot like my sister in personality, although I think I talk a little less than she does…she can be a real chatterbox sometimes! If I seem quieter, it’s not because I’m not interested in you…I actually find humans fascinating, despite how unkind humans once were to Clementine and me. I like to quietly and completely check you out with my super-bright, thoughtful eyes and my tiny sniffing nose. If you have treats, then we will be fast friends!

I, too love the screened-in deck that we get to spend time on here. When it rains, I love to hang half in and half out of the cat door and study the raindrops as they patter gently on the decking. I also like to watch the birdies that fly around just on the other side of the screen. They look scrumptious! But Clementine is right, we’re glad our outdoor days are behind us. Life indoors is a good life for us cats, and that’s the kind of life we want together.

An APRA volunteer recently discovered how much I love to be brushed! I do! I just love it! I’ll let you do my back and sides, and then I’ll roll around on the floor and let you do my beautiful belly. If you hear a rumbly noise while you’re brushing me, don’t be alarmed…it’s just me purring.

Clementine and I always sleep together, curled up tightly in a ball as we have done since we were babies. Because we’re together, we’ve been able to help each other put our sad past behind us and remain confident that the best is yet to come. I can’t imagine life without her, and I know she doesn’t want to have to live without me. We have beautiful healthy coats, shiny eyes, charming personalities (if I do say so myself!) and each other. All we need is you and a safe, loving forever home!
