Diamond is in a foster home and available for adoption on Saturday.
What a treasure this Diamond is. She was patient during her intake process and grooming. Her owners had not kept up with her hair and she needed a total shave down. She has been wonderful with other dogs, but would not mind sparkling all on her own. Her previous owners moved into apartments and were not allowed to take Diamond and their other dog who was a pit bull mix. She will need a home that doesn't have young children so she can gain her confidence. Diamond is sure to be the prize jewel of her family.
What my foster family says about me:
3/9/12: Diamond has been an absolute joy to have in our home. She is inquisitive, smart, & beyond cute! When she arrived she explored every inch of our home & then quickly settled into our routine.
She loves going for walks, giving kisses, and observing. She has a good amount of energy that is easily directed to her toys if you haven’t the time to play with her. Otherwise she also enjoys keeping watch over what her people are doing. Diamond is very respectful of our other dogs but does not engage them in any play. She prefers her stuffed animals for that!
When it is time to settle down, Diamond is happy to lie down of the sofa nearby & nap. She goes in to her crate while we are gone with minimum issue, although I think it is just a matter of time before she can have free reign of our home. She doesn’t have a destructive bone in her body.
She absolutely loves sleeping in the bed & cuddling with her people. She is wonderful with my husband & teenage daughters. She is sometimes wary of certain “new people” but it takes her about a minute to warm up to a soft voice & an ear rub.
Diamond has brought us great happiness and I expect she’ll do no less for whoever adopts this precious, wonderful girl. If you’ll love her forever…she promises to do the same!
