If you are interested in adopting her please see our “How to Adopt” section and come in to meet her.
If you are wondering if those gorgeous green eyes are really that color on Georgia, they are! She is one of the most beautiful cats with her lovely long coat and piercing green eyes, you really need to see her in person.
Georgia was adopted from us last summer and sadly had to come back to the shelter due to family allergies. They described her a a playful girl who loves to spend time running around the house searching for flies or moths or anything else she can hunt! She also LOVES catnip! Depending on her mood she will be a lap cat for a short time but then it is off to find something to chase. Most of her play comes out at night and during the day she is a pretty mellow girl.
She is a fairly independent girl who enjoys being around her family. Sometimes that independence means she likes to be around but may not be in the mood to be petted. Luckily for Georgia, her independence was just perfect for her family. That is why it is so sad that the allergies developed.
As you can see in her picture, she was a very loved girl. Georgia hopes to find a new family looking for an independent girl who sometimes just likes to sit around and observe what is going on. She is so beautiful, maybe she just likes to show off her good looks and striking green eyes.
What my friends say about me:
Since Georgia has been back with us she has been super affectionate and loves attention. When she was with us a year ago, she was sometimes a bit aloof but seems to love attention now. A year in a good home environment did wonders for this girl. She purrs non-stop when you give her catnip and is very content just having a person around to keep her company. She has a sweet meow that she uses to get your attention when she want some petting. Georgia is not only gorgeous but she is a sweet girl who loves attention.
