Honey is available for adoption Tuesday through Sunday.
You can't help but smile when you meet Honey. First, you notice her beautiful red coat and piercing golden eyes...then you see that irresistible underbite. This girl really stands out from the crowd and her outgoing personality is definitely a step above the rest.
Honey came to us from a rural animal control facility where she was picked up as a stray. She is looking for a loving family that will give her lots of play time and long walks, but also enjoy cuddling on the couch. You will often find her snuggled up on a bed with a buddy at our adoption center. Honey would love a home with a fenced in backyard where she can run and play.
My Doggy Buddy Reports 2/14/12: I took Honey to PetSmart this weekend, and was she fun! She rides extremely well in the car, she either sits in the passenger seat or sits politely in your lap. She was very excited a PetSmart and helped me to pick out a toy. She definitely seemed interested in the other dogs at the store but when you say her name she looks directly at you and listens. Once we got back to APR, she sat on a bench and laid in my lap while chewing her toy. She seems to really love people but also other dogs as well. She is just a great dog!!!

2/20/12: Honey is a sweet girl with a very luxourious coat. She is a stunning redhead with light green/yellow eyes.Her underbite is pretty funny when she juts out her bottom teeth but it certainly adds to her smile when she gives you that doggy grin! She is very active and very playful. She loves playing with other dogs, she loves longs walks and she loves passing out in bed with you when her action packed day is done. She would do great with someone who is an avid walker or even a jogger. This girl can go, go, go!
She rides great in the car and is happy to sit in the backseat as long as she can see out. She is very cuddly and loves everyone she meets. She is pretty quiet and we have yet to hear her bark. She had no accidents at all when she was at our house, so it leads me to believe she is potty trained. She also seemed to like her crate and was happy to relax in quiet time with no complaints. She is also quite happy to sleep in bed with you too! This girl is an all around fun dog, come meet her today.
