Little Debbie is in a foster home and available for adoption on Saturday, Sunday, and by appointment.

This darling redhead has very subtle dapple markings that run along her back.  She has the softest ears that frame her pretty face.  Beyond her looks is the most demure little lady.  She is not pushy in her requests for attention, but is very convincing.  She will mosey on over and gently prop her short little legs on you and from there on out Little Debbie has your heart.

Unfortunately, Little Debbie didn’t receive heartworm prevention and is Heartworm Positive as a result. Many people looked at her and asked about adopting her from animal control.  Once they learned she has heartworms, they dropped her from consideration.   We thought she was far too sweet to pass up, and knew that her outcome would not be good if she stayed at animal control.  We definitely think this sweetie was worth saving, even if the costs for treating heartworms are straining our finances.  If you can help defray her medical costs, please click on the 'Sponsor Me' link.

Update 2/23/2012:  Little Debbie has successfully completed her heartworm treatment and is looking forward to finding her forever home soon.
