Are you looking for the love of your life?  Memphis could easily be your boy.  He has such a puppy face despite being about a year old.  He is loyal and devoted.  When you get home from a long day at work, he is happy to meet you with the wiggliest hind-end any dog could have.  You can't see it in his pictures, but he only has half a tail.  Despite it being short, it wiggles VERY fast and when it gets to wiggling, his whole hind end wiggles too!  Typical of a Retriever, when he is happy he likes to pick up things and carry them gently in his mouth.  He will happily pick up a shoe and carry it for you!  He is so good, he never damages anything he picks up.

Memphis loves many things in life.  Walks, other dogs, cats and at the top of his list is his people.  Memphis walks very well on leash, especially when walking on an Easy Walk Harness.  He likes to get most of his energy out in the morning, it is his favorite time to do things.  When you get home from work,  he likes to get out some energy, but looks forward to a good snuggle in bed or lounging on the couch.  He is a superb car rider.  So if you're going somewhere, he is ready to roll with you.  He is house trained and is doing great with his basic obedience commands.  At the end of the day, he is ready to get in bed and snooze.  Memphis is looking for a home that will provide him with as much happiness as he is certain to provide.
