Wendy is a petite and shy little female Dachshund.  She is very cute, and her shyness only makes her more cute.  She knows how to use a doggie door, and is faithfully using it for potty breaks.  Wendy is very quiet, and gets along well with other dogs.

Wendy just ended her career as a "breeder dog" and is now looking forward to a life as a cherished pet and loyal companion to her humans.  She's still unsure of how this all works, but is trying her best to catch on.  She was surrendered to an animal control facility that was not able to keep her, so faced imminent death if a rescue organization did not take her in, and immediately.  We retrieved little Wendy in the nick of time, and she is now looking forward to the time when she has a real home and someone who will love her forever.
