The Atlanta Pet Rescue volunteer mesage board is for all Atlanta Pet Rescue volunteers, foster homes, staff, and supporters that are interested in staying “in the know” about important up-to-date event information and specific needs of our organization. If you have an announcement or request you would like to publish, email us with “message board posting” in the subject line.

Help Wanted

Do you work for Home Depot, UPS, BellSouth, Georgia Pacific, Delta, Southern Co., Newell Rubbermaid, SunTrust or Coca-Cola?

We are currently soliciting corporate sponsorships from the above companies for funding for our new shelter, as well as for upcoming events such as Wags to Riches and Paws for Cocktails. It always helps to know someone on the “inside” who can attest to what our organization does for the community. All you have to do is make a phone call to your community affairs manager and let them know you are a volunteer! We will do all the boring paperwork! Will you help us? Take Peachtree Road to East Wesley (in Buckhead), then Left on Rumson Road NE, then a quick Right on Pine Tree Drive. #339 is at the intersection (no light) of Pine Tree Drive NE and Brentwood Drive NE in the Garden Hills neighborhood. The clubhouse is not visable from the road, just park on Pine Tree and proceed a short walk down the gravel driveway.

7th Annual Paws for Cocktails
Join Atlanta Pet Rescue for a evening of friends, fun and celebration on Thursday, November 13th from 5:30pm until 10pm at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park. Admission is a $20 donation at the door and will include hot appetizers, a free drink ticket, raffle, and a live and silent auction. Opportunities still exist for private or corporate sponsorships. This event is sponsored by Georgia Veterinary Specialists.
