If you are interested in adopting a cat from Atlanta Pet Rescue and Adoption, please complete the following form and click on the submit button at the bottom of the page. Before you click on the submit button, be sure to print a copy for your files, and bring it with you to the shelter as a backup copy. Atlanta Pet Rescue matches pets with families in or around the Atlanta, Georgia area. All applicants complete an application and are interviewed in person. An adoption fee is required.

Thank you for completing your application with Atlanta Pet Rescue. Before you submit the application, if you have specified that you want a kitten, please reconsider adopting a teenage or adult cat. The kitten stage lasts only six months, and the ones that really need homes are the teenage and adult cats. We all love kittens, but they become teenagers and adults very quickly. The older cats are terrific, too, and just waiting to be adopted. If you truly want to rescue a pet, rescue a teenage or adult cat. They are the last ones anyone wants and the numbers waiting to come into rescue programs like ours are very high.
