Our Mission
- We promote spay/neuter in order to reduce pet overpopulation.
- We counsel and educate the public about responsible pet ownership, offer guidance on training, and assist them in finding new homes for their pets.
- We counsel people on selecting the best pets for their lifestyle and give advice concerning pet behavioral problems.
- We have every animal that comes into our program spayed or neutered, dewormed, vaccinated appropriate to their age and species; dogs older than six months are tested for heartworms and cats or kittens are tested for feline leukemia.
- We find qualified adoptive homes for homeless dogs and cats, with our the goal of finding a permanent home for the pet.
- We support legislation to reduce pet overpopulation and strengthen and enforce anti-cruelty and anti-puppymill laws.
