We have three Scottish Fold mix kittens with the cutest ears, ever! They are Parsley, Basil and Thyme. Parsley and Basil are girls and Thyme is a boy. They look very much alike, except that the boy is lighter than either of his sisters, and smaller, too.
All three of these cuties purr the minute they see you. They love to explore and play with their kitty play toys.

Tina Marie is an outgoing two year old dilute tortie. She’s a cute (grey and) cream puff, a little on the zaftig side which probably adds to the puff profile. But Tina Marie thinks she’s simply marvelous, and so do we!
Her favorite activities are dozing on our secure porch and participating in the litter-scooping routine by wiggling her way between the litter pans and swatting the scoop. Why she enjoys that is anyone’s guess… so, we’d really like to see Tina Marie in a home that offers a little more in terms of entertainment. You can meet Tina Marie and maybe witness the scoop thing by dropping by the shelter.

Cute redhead with a slightly skewed view of the world looking for a good home. They call me Ginger, and I guess I’ll go along with that. Everyone who’s ever met me smiles because of my funny face and crossed eyes.
Apparently, no one has bothered to check THE BIG CAT BOOK in the office at Atlanta Pet Rescue to find out I’m PROBABLY an Oriental Shorthair and not some ordinary domestic shorthair. Anyway, I’m only two years old and ready to find a home with someone who recognizes how incredibly marvelous I am and will treat me accordingly.

Kiwi is a 1 year old sweet and small female kitty with the most unusual coloring. You can see a few stripes on her, a little white, but her main coloring appears grayish. Actually, her hair is "ticked", which means it is one color (white) at the roots, and changes to gray and then to black at the tips. It's almost like an Abyssinian coat in that way.
She's soft as a bunny and very affectionate. Her eyes are not turquoise, as the photo suggests -that's the flash effect on her eyes.
Kiwi has met a dog or two while in our care, and hasn't liked either of them, so she will probably be happier in a home without canine companions.

Cranky Calico needs loving home. Seriously. My name is Francie, and I like treats, food and laps in that order. I don’t like other cats, children or too much attention. I’d give anything to get out of this cat room at Atlanta Pet Rescue. If you don’t care much about lots of affection and wouldn’t mind sharing your life with a quiet companion, let me know. I’m pretty, about six years old, spayed, microchipped and have all my shots.

Here’s Francie’s UPDATE: Okay, so Francie’s “cranky calico” personal ad didn’t attract any takers. She was hoping someone somewhere might share her interesting personality traits and come forward to adopt her. Six year old Francie is very pretty with her dramatic coloring and her very unusual tail that curls over her back. This is a cat who really enjoys attention. She goes to a lot of trouble to climb down from her on-high little bed and greet visitors to the cat room. Francie clearly likes people, lap time and being petted. It’s just that there are some rules. Francie doesn’t like other cats so she wants a home where she doesn’t have to share her food bowl, her water bowl, her bed her littler pan or (most importantly) her person.

Miss Shelley is a classic Seal Point Siamese Cat. She is about 2 years old and weighs about 7 pounds. Shelley is declawed on her front paws.
Shelly has the svelt angular build of the oriental style Siamese. She also has the classic blue eyes and a wonderful siamese meow.
Shelly likes to sit in her foster mom's lap when she works at the computer. If she's not in her lap, she will lay beside the desk and watch her every move. She's even gotten brave enough to sleep on her foster mom's bed with a dog sleeping only inches away.

Destiny is a gorgeous 3 year old Bengal cat. Destiny is a big girl and currently weighs about 16 pounds. She was surrendered by her previous owner because she was not getting along with the newest feline addition.
Destiny is registered as a 3rd generation Bengal and she has the most beautiful soft shiny coat! Her fur has a coppery shine to it and is very striking.

Lisa is a beautiful, one year old Calico cat. Lisa is a darling little girl. She has beautiful clear markings and a sweet temperament. After finding herself homeless, Lisa made friends with a kind family who cared for her for several weeks. She was quite fond of the family children and eagerly sought them out for food and playtime. Unfortunately, the resident kitties were not happy about the presence of a new cat and Lisa was forced to look elsewhere for a home.

Update 7/21: Marty has been sidelined with a shoulder and ankle injury or genetic defect. The original prognosis was to have his front leg amputated. However, upon a second check-up with the vet, Marty seems to have regained more use of his leg, so he is being watched carefully to see if it will heal on its own. We can only hope for a miracle to keep little Marty from losing his leg. Please keep an eye on our website for updates on his condition.

I'm Egberta. I am a 3 month old Siamese mix kitten, and although I love to play with my toys and siblings, they are predicting I'm going to be something called a "lap kitty" because I already love to curl up on you, get some love and eventually fall asleep.
Even at this stage of the game, I am just as happy sitting with you on the couch and having some down time. Then after a good rest I'm ready for some more kitten gladiator games.

Hi I'm Griselda and I am a 3 month old Siamese mix kitten. I am always the first one to greet visitors (with a big purr I might add!). I am proud to say that I was the first one to come out of my shell and I showed this by trying to attack the broom and the cat litter scoop. As you can tell, you can't call me shy. Hi, they tell me my name is Freddie Fingers but I seem to hear them call me Fingers all the time. I am a 3 month old Siamese mix kitten. They named me Fingers because at first they had a hard time telling me and Egberta apart until they noticed my precious little fingers are darker than hers. I love to run around and play and the other day they gave me this great toy - a cardboard paper towel thingy. Let me tell you it was loads of fun to roll around with and I even gave it some mean donkey kicks.

Flopsy has a cute little
"got milk?" moustache. |
Flopsy is a fluffy, 12 week old, Siamese mix kitten with big blue eyes. Flopsy came to APR from an outlying animal control facility where he was at risk of euthanasia because his mom caught a cold and was put to sleep.
We stepped in to prevent Flopsy from having the same fate, and he was raised in a foster home with other cats and dogs. Flopsy is big enough now to move on, and is currently seeking a loving forever home.
