Marmalade is a beautiful nine month old dilute calico Siamese mix. This darling feline came to us from an outlying animal control facility where they had picked her up as a stray.
When we found her, Marmalade was swarming with fleas. She has a bit of hair loss on her head and neck from constant scratching. Although her life may have not started out so great, she has not let that phase her outlook for the future. Marmalade is a sweet girl that enjoys the company of other cats. She is very, very affectionate with her humans. Marmalade is sure to make a wonderful lifetime companion for most any feline lover.

Oreo is an adventurous three month old Domestic Shorthair. He has traveled a bumpy road for such a young feline. He became an orphan just after his eyes had opened, and a kind citizen brought him and his litter mate, Pace, to Paces Ferry Veterinary Clinic. The staff there immediately began to resuscitate little Oreo and he responded. Our next challenge was to feed and nurture this tiny kitten that was a little bigger than your thumb. Thankfully, Matzoh (now adopted) was willing to nurse Oreo and take care of him as if he were her own.
Oreo is an outgoing cat that loves other cats and truly enjoys the company of his person. Oreo is fond of climbing up jeans and perching himself in a lap or upon a shoulder. He will purr in your ear for as long as you allow him to. Oreo is a darling boy that would love to find a forever home to call his own. Foster Report 8/6/10: Oreo is such a sweetheart! He loves to play with the other kitties when they are around, but he is also very content with just hanging out and cuddling. He loves to lay on your chest or even on your shoulder...as close as he can to you!

Skye is a beautiful three year old seal point Siamese mix. This darling girl was abandoned by her previous owners. Luckily, a kind citizen was able to bring her into our facility where she has been taking her time settling in.
Skye is still adjusting to her new surroundings here. Once she is comfortable she is sure to blossom and show us her true personality. Skye will be a wonderful lifetime companion for most any feline lovers home.

A Note from a Friend: Skye really has blossomed now that she has gotten used to her surroundings. Her lovely personality is starting to emerge. She is very sweet and affectionate. She was one of the first cats to greet me when I entered the cat room the other day, and while she enjoyed being petted, she wasn’t at all demanding. Skye’s a beauty – inside and out.

Mutt is a darling five year old Domestic Short Hair feline. This sweet boy was abandoned by his previous owners. Luckily, a kind citizen was able to bring him into our facility where he has been spending time with Elisa, another black feline.
Mutt came to our facility with a rough coat of hair and scabs on his ear tips because of a poor diet and fleas. Mutt is also missing some of his bottom teeth. Although Mutt has certainly been through a lot, he has not allowed those hurdles to phase his outlook on life. Mutt is sweet and affectionate despite his rough past. He would greatly appreciate a forever home to call his own.

Thelma is a cream colored Persian with gold eyes. She is about two years old and came to us after animal control confiscated her and another 41 Persian cats from a hoarder who kept them in small cages in the basement.
Thelma had lived all her life in a cage with 3-4 other cats. In spite of that, Thelma loves to be petted and is a playful little girl. All the world is new to her, and she loves exploring it. She surely deserves a life as a pampered pet after what she's endured up till now.

Louise is a very pretty orange Persian. She is about three years old, and like Thelma, has lived a hard life because she lived with a hoarder. Louise lived in a dark basement, confined to a small cage with no room to walk or play, sharing the limited space with 3-4 other cats. When we took Louise to the vet for her initial examination and Rabies vaccination, we were shocked to learn that Louise was too sick to be vaccinated that day.
It has taken Louise a little time to get healthy, as she was filthy, had severe diarrhea and also had gum disease that resulted in the loss of three teeth.
Fortunately, Louise had the will to live and gradually got healthy enough to be spayed, get her Rabies vaccination and have her teeth cleaned. She's like a new girl now, and is much happier and more playful than before.

Regan and Simba are two beautiful two year old Domestic Long Hair kitties who were surrendered by their former owners when they got divorced and could not keep them. They've been living temporarily with a relative whose Jack Russell Terrier terrorized them, and when the family realized that Regan and Simba were in danger, they asked Atlanta Pet Rescue to help find them a new forever home.
Both kitties are Declawed on all four paws. They are a little unsure of their new surroundings at the moment, but we are sure with a little time and TLC they will become more "at home" with us. They do not scratch or hiss, they are just a little shy and need some time to warm up.
