Ashley

I just wanted to let you know how grateful we are for the work that you do.

We came to APR 10 months ago to start the long process of looking for a dog to bring home as a family pet.  That same day we came home with Ashley.  She was almost a year old and very, very shy.  My daughter wanted a dog ever since we can remember but the timing wasn't right and we were terrified of getting a dog that wouldn't be a right fit for our family.

Ashley has been an incredible addition to our family.  We took all the tips that the interviewer from APR gave and used them. I don't remember her name, but she was incredibly helpful and really set us up for a positive adoption experience.  Once Ashley got comfortable in our home we noticed some behavior issues that started to become worrisome (e.g., biting the kids).  We took her to Powers Ferry Animal Hospital (an APR recommendation) and the vet recommended we take her to K-9 Coach in Smyrna (also an APR recommendation).

We set up an appointment for a consultation with a trainer right away. The trainer spent close to an hour with us, gave us handouts, tips and demonstrations of what to do...and refused to charge us because he said it was a consultation.  We implemented the recommendations right away and I am glad to say that we have not had any issues since.

Ashley is not only a joy to our family but to everyone she meets.  She is truly a treasure and I can't thank you enough for helping rescue her and helping us adopt her.  You set us up for success from the beginning.

Thanks again.

Luisa & Jon W.

Toby (formerly Keelo)

When Johnny saw little Toby, he smiled and smiled and smiled.  The sweet little thing went right to him and rode on his lap in the wheelchair...They are now napping in the recliner...a perfect match.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Very Grateful

P.S. Otis our "special needs" kitty wants to chase Toby's tail; Felix doesn't have one of those!!!

Luke (formerly Aiden) and Rocco (formerly Petey)

Rocco and Luke wanted to let you know that they are now brothers and LOVE their forever home in Athens, Georgia. Rocco left APR is Oct of 2007, and Luke in Feb of 2008.

They miss you guys, and said you took great care of them, but they REALLY love it here. Thanks for all that you do!

Sincerely,

Scott S., Eric V., Rocco Vaughn-Simpson, & Luke Vaughn-Simpson.

Mao (formerly Prissy) and Xiaoping (formerly Yahtzee)

Prissy and Yahtzee, currently Mao and Xiaoping, but possibly soon to be Ink and Spot...

Thanks to you all for bringing mom, daughter and me together!  We're getting along splendidly.  I think that an industrial loft is some kind of cat heaven.  Lots of places to perch, look out, and run around.  Mao races down the stairs when I come home, rolling on her back and rubbing her face in greetings.  Xiaoping plays it more cool - most of the time.  She watches intently much of what I do and remains just out of arms' reach - except for night time when she and Mao curl up on the bed, often using that time to clean each other, with Xiaoping usually nestling on top of me some time around dawn.  Xiaoping also likes to sing on occasion.  They love racing up and down the stairs, after each other or after me when they think it's mealtime.  Perching on chairs or ledges is another great pasttime, as the photos show.  It's been a very happy six weeks since we first moved in together!

Best wishes!

Stephen

Boober

I adopted Boober 3 years ago next week.  He will be 4 years old in May and he is the LOVE of my life.  I fell in love with Boober the very first time I saw his picture on APR and knew I had to have him.  He is the best companion and always by my side.  He has brought so much joy to my life and I hope he would say the same about me. I am always guaranteed to be greeted with tons of kisses!

He is still an only dog, but he loves to play with his canine Aunt and Uncle.  He also loves to go visit his great grandparents for some geriatric therapy!

He has brought so much joy to my life (and others) and I don't know what I would do without my precious baby boy!

Theodora (formerly Phyllis) and Lambchop (formerly Paris)

Phyllis' name has been changed to Theodora and believe it or not she runs to me when I call "Theodora."

She was a little under the weather when she first arrived at her new home so Lambchop (formerly Paris-another Atlanta Pet Rescue alumna) kept her company and she quickly settled it.

Lambchop loves to go shopping with me or to the office where she has sooo many admirers (photo with a co-worker/admirer attached).  She also enjoys volunteering at Kingsbridge.

Theodora has now fully recovered and exploring and into everything (as a kitten should).  Her nickname is "Ninja Kiddy" as one of her favorite pastimes is to sneak up on me and then be chased.  She has also fallen in love with my bubble chair which she claims as her own personal swing.

We could not be happier.  Thank you so much for bringing us all together.  We girls are having a ball.

Regards,

Diane D.

Petunia (formerly Olivia)

Petunia has been with us since June 2009.  When we adopted her it was thought she was a Maltipoo. As a Christmas gift to ourselves we had her DNA analyzed and found  that she is really two-fifths Bichon Frise, two-fifths Lhasa Apso and one-fifth White West Highland Terrier.

She is still the sweetest, most obedient, loving dog we have ever had. She is also a great hot water bottle on cold winter nights.

When we took her home she was rail thin. Now, since we spoil her, the vet wants her on a diet.  No dog has loved to eat more than Petunia.  She dances with joy, on tip toe, when she sees the kitchen light switched on at feeding time.

Thank you for saving her life.

Miley

I adopted Miley (I opted not to change her name - too cute!) in May 2009, and I couldn't ask for a better dog.  I lived alone before I adopted her and, while becoming a dog owner was a challenging transition, now I can't imagine not coming home to her.

Miley is wonderful - the sweetest dog I've ever met.  She's high-energy, loves to play and go on long walks, and has taken quite a liking to wearing sweaters!  She has such a sweet temperment - she's never met a stranger, and my neighors love her.  Her first birthday was in December and I love her more every day.

The man I interviewed with at APR said that he had a knack for pairing up the right pets with the right owners - and he was completely on point.  Miley was the first dog he showed me, and that sealed the deal for me.  She brings joy to every day!  THANK YOU, APR!

Clifford

We just wanted to send you an email to "Thank You" for giving Clifford the opportunity to have a second chance!! It will be a week tomorrow (Saturday) since Clifford has entered our lives. He is such a sweet boy! We kept his name Clifford because we thought it fit him. He may not be big in size but he has a big heart. We are thankful every day to have him in our lives! After a week he has shown his funny side. He is quite the character. He always puts a smile on our face!

The girls are counting down the days until they can have a lot of fun with him (we are waiting out 6 weeks for him to recover from heartworms). You can tell he wants to run around and have a good time. :-) As for now, they don't mind giving him a lot of loving! He has become their TV and nap buddy. He loves to sleep in the girls room for bedtime.

Thank you again for being there for Clifford and the other animals that are looking for a second chance. We also would like to thank Clifford's sponsors: Christine C. and Tamara S. and the counselors that assisted us on Saturday, January 30. We are also very grateful for their support!!

Best regards,

The Szymoniak Family

Sugar (formerly Ruby)

We adopted Ruby a couple of days ago (2/3/10) and we are hooked! Ruby is a sweet bundle of joy. In fact, she is so sweet we named her Sugar. We're smitten with our kitten!!!

Alana D.

Sebastian (formerly Guy)

I adopted Sebastian on Saturday, January 23 as a companion for my cat, Sable. Last November, we lost our best boy, Sigmund, and Sable quickly became depressed and lethargic.  After talking with her vet, he suggested that a younger male cat would make the smoothest transition for her. I looked online at lots of pets, and when I saw "Guy," he seemed like a perfect match. As soon as I met him, I fell in love with him! Even though he was only 11 weeks old, he was just what we were looking for.

The next afternoon, I introduced Sable and Sebastian. Sable was intrigued and not quite sure what to think of him. She followed him around and watched his every move, with an occasional hiss. But she perked up and began playing more on her own, and, within a couple of days, they were chasing each other around and playing like old friends.

Sebastian particularly loves the cat teaser toys. He's figured out how to hold them in his mouth and drag them across the apartment. His interaction with Sable is very sweet at times, and I feel fortunate to be blessed with two very loving (and very active!) cats.

I can only imagine what Sebastian went through the first few weeks of his life, but after the great start Lyndel gave him, I am going to make sure he has the best life possible. He is exactly what Sable and I needed after losing Sigmund. He's been a big hit on Facebook - my friends are scheduling nights to come over and meet him!

Thank you so much for making this possible -- in particular, to Sheri for answering all of my questions on the phone and to Lyndel for loving him and giving him such a great start. He came into our home with a big heart, lots of playful energy, a healthy food regimen, and most importantly, great litterbox skills! He is one of the best gifts Sable and I will ever receive.

Benito aka "Beny"

Today is Beny's first birthday with us; we adopted him a year ago. We think his real age is around 6 and not 8 as we had thought.

First of all we want to thank APR for the great job you do and also tell you a bit about  Beny. The little boy is a joy and so much fun to watch. He is so tiny he looks like a guinea pig. He loves to run around the house but his favorite place is a corner in the kitchen where he can see what's going on around him.  He still doesn't bark unless it's food time.  He goes crazy when he hears the magic word "essen" ( he speaks German now and it didn't take him long to learn).  He also gets very excited when we go on a car ride.  He understands several commands, is very polite and he gets along with his brother Markus and sister Maxi, but is in love with his other sister Robina.  It's just great to see them always together.

Beny loves the water and is a good swimmer. He loves summertime but winter so far has been a bit boring because he can't enjoy garden exploring as much as he would like to.

He has the privilege to choose whom he wants to sleep with everyday. When he does decide, he finds his place and doesn't move until you wake him up the next morning.

I can't tell you enough about him.  He is our baby and we love him soooooooooooooo much.  Thank you again for saving Beny from that horrible place he was in in Alabama.

Michael, Carsten, Cederic, & Rosalinda B.

Maybelline (formerly Coco) aka "Mabel"

We are getting ready to celebrate one year with Maybelline and I wanted to send you a long overdue update and thank you.

Mabel has brought so much joy to us!  She is the funniest dog I've ever met - she has a huge vocabulary of sounds to let us know her likes/dislikes and loves to make funny faces at us.

The most important thing that Mabel did was teach me a huge lesson in how to own a dog.  We were still grieving over the death of our last dog and adopted a dog from APR before we were ready.  Unfortunately, that dog did not like our cats or my husband at all.  When we had to make the painful decision to return him to APR, my husband looked over and saw Coco and fell in love.  Now, the volunteers at APR told us that we could not adopt again that day (very understandable!) so we just went to meet Coco..  I was not at all interested as I really loved the dog we had just turned in.  Well, Coco decided that we were going to be her new family and was very relaxed and sweet when we met her (she had previously bitten several volunteers due to an abusive life prior to APR).  The volunteers were so wonderful and allowed us to adopt her.

Her long eyelashes demanded that we call her Maybelline and her sense of humor made Mabel so appropriate.  She came home with us and was understandably terrified.  She barked non-stop for about two weeks and tried to bite us several times.  I enrolled her in Class 101 at K-9 Coach and she and I really bonded in that class.  Amber remembered working with her at APR and said she had made great strides.

The important part of this is that we forget that the dogs that we bring home are often scared and they have no way of knowing what we expect from them.  Mabel definitely taught me to be patient and let her find a place in my heart in her own way but she also showed me the unconditional love that wonderful dogs can give to us all!

Thank you, APR, for your patience with me and for allowing us to find the PERFECT dog for our home.

Peggy (formerly Christine)

I adopted Peggy in August and wanted to send you a few pictures toshow you how well she has adjusted to her new life.

Thanks again for saving this wonderful dog.

Macallan (formerly Jack)

We adopted Macallan or "Mac" two years ago and he's doing GREAT! He's a beautiful animal, has an amazing personality, and is VERY smart.

He's now 42lbs and has VERY strong herding instincts, LOVES the water, and running free in the woods. We're pretty sure he's Mini-Australian Shepherd with a splash of King Charles Cavalier.

Mac has been a very special addition to our family and we want to thank the team at Atlanta Pet Rescue for everything they do.  Keep up the great work!  If you're thinking of adopting...Go for it...because the endless love and daily joy you'll get back is priceless.

Thanks!

Kelly & Richard L.

Dahlia

Just want to say that Dahlia is a wonderful dog and she is loving life.  She gets walked everyday about 2 to 3 miles and rarely, if ever, is left alone more than a couple of hours.  A great fit for us.

FYI...She sits, shakes, high fives, lays down, rolls over, and best trick....while sitting we point our finger at her and say "BANG"; she drops to her side and lays as if dead...until we say "OK".  What a hoot.  Smart dog.

Thanks for your work.  All the Best for 2010.

Dennis H.

PS.  About a month ago she sneaked out the door one morning and took off for a prance around the neighborhood.  We were scared to death.  I chased her...probably the wrong thing to do...and lost her.  Patti and I drove around the neighborhood...no Dahlia.  We went back home; who was on the front steps....Dahlia.  Too funny!!

Tallulah (aka Lulu)

I adopted Tallulah the weekend before Thanksgiving.  She is doing great and has brought such joy into my life.  She rules the roost so to speak and is very spoiled.

She loves to play fetch and snuggle with me.  She never leaves my side when I am home and loves to go bye-bye in the car.  She even flew on an airplane to go see grandma in Ohio (first class) over Christmas.

Lula has changed my life and I thank you for bringing her to me.

Diane P.

Duchess (formerly Sasha)

I adopted this little cutie pie in September 2008.  She had just come into the shelter from her previous owner’s fiancée, who apparently didn’t want a dog.

I do believe I got the better end of that deal.  Her name was Sasha, but she didn’t really like that name.  Her name is now Duchess and she lives up to that name.  She is just an absolute delight and I couldn’t love her anymore than I do.

She is precious.  She loves chasing a ball.  I should say she is obsessed with chasing a ball.  And the remarkable thing is that she brings it right back and gears up for the next throw.  I smile every time I think about her  which is often and always and look forward to getting home at the end of the day to see her.  She is just soooo cute coming and going.

Thank you guys for all you do.  Keep up the good work in 2010!

Cheryl K.

Babette

I adopted a wonderful little poodle from you in March of 08 and she is doing great.  I can’t thank the foster mother enough for her patience in helping Babette learn to trust again.

I have often thought of getting Babette a sister, but she loves all the one-on-one attention she gets and I wouldn’t want to make her feel less important.

Thanks for all the great work you all do.

Best Regards,

Barbara F.

Emma

I adopted Emma on 12/27/08. In the year since I brought her into my home, she has been pure joy. I love her so much and the love and joy she brings to my life is pure heaven.

After the death of my first dog Cinamon, I never thought I could love another dog as deeply again. But when I first saw Emma on your website, I knew she was meant to be mine. She had an ear infection and would  not be available for adoption for 2 weeks.

Everyday, I viewed her picture and connected with her so much. Much to my delight, I was allowed to adopt Emma even though there were others who wanted her also. Thank you APR for bringing this special girl into my life, I am forever grateful.

Marye H.

Zinnia (aka Zinnie)

I adopted Zinnie in August of 2009. Since Day One, she has changed my life for the better! Playing with her is the greatest part of every day. Since the day I adopted her and she fell asleep in my lap when we got home, I've treasured my time with her.

She loves to go on walks around our neighborhood and cuddle up on the couch. Her cute little face and wagging tail greet me every time I walk into our home. She loves people and exploring new places. She received some rain gear for Christmas since walks in the rain aren't her favorite.

I am so thankful to APR for saving Zinnie and bringing her into my life!

Meg L.

Scarlett (formerly Cherokee)

My husband and I adopted Scarlett in mid-April 2009 when she was just 12 weeks old and newly arrived at APR from her foster home with her sister Navajo.  We wished we could have adopted them both, but Scarlett's new big sister Lucie was waiting at home.  I checked back on the APR site and saw that Navajo was adopted about a month later.

Scarlett is nearly a year old and is growing into a truly beautiful cat. She has certainly brought a lot of fun and activity into our house and has even helped her older sister lose some weight playing tag and wrestling. They also bathe each other and snuggle sometimes.

Scarlett is very confident and vocal when she wants to be held, play or thinks it's dinnertime.  She's very sweet and cuddly when she's sleepy.  She's always loved by our family.

Thanks to Lyndel for helping us find Scarlett and everyone at APR for all the great work you do.

Igby (formerly Amos)

Happy New Year Atlanta Pet Rescue!

We adopted Igby 3 years ago Super Bowl weekend.  He had suffered a broken pelvis from being hit by a car and all kinds of hardship before he went to his foster home to mend.

Please let Igby's foster Mom know that Igby is well, happy, healthy, pampered, spoiled, and secure in his home and enjoys a large extended family.  We brought him home to Cincinnati after seeing him and reading about his injuries online (which was a total fluke because a friend with a friend in Atlanta was just showing me the website for fun...we were not looking to adopt).  "It Had To Be You" is our song and the roadtrip well worth the results.

We've attached some photos of our full of spunk Pomeranian.  He's about 4 years old now, still loves his wicker bed, toys, walks, soft blankets, and being nosy, and basically cracks us up on a daily basis.

May 2010 bless you with an abundance of happy, safe, loving homes.

Billie and Vincent P. + Igby

Abbott

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hope you were all just as spoiled at Christmas as I was :)

Love, Abbott

Waiting under the tree!

Is that one for me?

Toby

Hi! My name is Toby I looked like a Toby so Toby I stayed my boy said the day we met! I found my forever home two years ago today (1-3-08) and what a great 2 years it has been. I had been hanging around Atlanta Pet Rescue waiting for the right boy to come in and when mine came in, it was love at first sight!

His mom, on the other hand, had to be worked on as she had only had huskies for 22 yrs. My boy pleaded my case of how I would be virtually "maintenance free" compared to the motto of "fur, fur and more fur" in their house. With that point made, I knew I had my paw in the door!

I came home to find "a dog's life" didn't even describe what I was in for. I had two new sisters to torment (I get as much as I give), toys everywhere to play with, AND...I get to sleep in whatever bed I want to each night!! And even though half the gang here has 4 paws, that's no reason not to have birthday parties! You should have seen my dog biscuit cake-two paws up I say! (I so-o-o-o have my boy's mom wrapped around my tail).

I want to thank the APR folks for doing such a great job taking in guys like me. Without your help I would never be living the dream life I am now. Here's to 2010 and the many pets you will save-God Bless you!

Toby

Hannah

I just wanted to give a quick update on Hannah, my amazing dog I adopted from APR in September 2005.

We have lived in Chicago now for 3 years and she has learned to love playing in the snow (and if her prance is any indication, she loves the attention she gets when sporting one of her doggie coats!) Since her fearful state when I adopted her she has transformed into a loving, trusting companion. Her days of abuse before her rescue by APR are just a distant memory, replaced by a life of lounging, playing, running and cuddling. She is one content pup! I have many friends say they wish they could clone Hannah for their own pet and dog sitters are plentiful when I leave town. I am so blessed to have been matched with her that fateful day in 2005. I never knew how much Hannah would enhance my life and just wanted to thank APR again for saving my Hannah from her former abusive situation and giving me the honor of being "her human".

Her newest endeavor has come from visiting my Grandma in her nursing home. The residents and workers all love her visits and seeing my Grandma light up when Hannah comes to see her is just another blessing Hannah provides. She's truly an angel.

I attached a couple recent photos of Hannah. Although since she's usually napping it's hard to get a head-on shot! Ha.

Happy New Year to Atlanta Pet Rescue!

Jess E.

Pearl (formerly Millie)

While everyone is resting after several hours of play, I'm jotting you a quick update on Pearl.  She joined our family only a week and a half ago but is already as comfortable as a well worn pair of jeans. As you can see from the picture, she and Hershel (my parents' big, black pound puppy) have a grand time playing chase and wrestle.  Goldie the shorthaired mut is also a good friend.  Pearl visited Piedmont Dog Park last week with great success, loving every dog she met.

We're working on adding a few pounds to her underweight frame.  She eats so very daintily and has the softest mouth.  She does like chewing on bones but gives them up without a fight if Hershel sneaks one away. She doesn't beg and was very well behaved during a dinner party.

Our vet discovered an ear infection and upped the antibiodics you gave us.  Pearl's foot with the missing toenails is healing nicely (Rob, my husband, and I give her a medicated foot bath every evening).  She has been to the groomer (but will need another trip after all the wrestling!) and will start obedience classes January 9th.

We are still amazed that a dog as sweet as Pearl came up for adoption. Thank you for helping us connect with this jewel of a pet.

All the best,

Cydnee

Abigail & Annie and Missy (formerly Courage)

Of course, after reading April's update (see below), I had to let you know how her daughters, Abigail and Annie, are doing.  I adopted them in June 2007.  These sisters fit my personality so well being very laid back (for the most part).  Annie, on the right, insists nightly on the "let's chase the laser light" game accompanied by her new sister, Missy (AKA Courage).  Abigail just chooses to watch them play.

Missy (formerly Courage) chose me when I visited the APR earlier this year.  She is demonstrative in giving and receiving affection.  All of the girls get along very well.  Annie and Abigail are captivated by Missy who has turned out to be the "playground" leader in their escapades.

I love my girls very much and am thankful to APR for helping pets to secure a home.  Thanks also to Lyndel who keeps in touch with me.

Bear (formerly Huey)

Bear has adjusted great to the our house.  He is so adorable and smart; within one day we taught him to walk on his leash--he loves going on walks (4 or 5 a day :)

He and our 8 year old Bichon Petey have become bff's.  They play together and sleep on the same bed.  It is so cute.  Bear has made Petey young again.  He was beginning to sleep all day and be lazy but now he has pepped up and become as active as a puppy.   Bear jumps on his head to get him to play and Petey knocks him around with his nose.  Bear loves it and keeps coming back for more.  They are so cute together.

Bear is doing great sleeping all night long and has been going potty outside (yippee) first thing every morning.  He still has a couple accidents during the day but is getting much much better each day.  He loves getting his treats and has learned that when he 'goes' outside he will get a treat.  He even tries to trick us by "pretending" to go and then looks up for a treat.  He is so so cute!!!

Hope you had a great holiday and have a Happy New Year.  Just wanted you to know that Bear is happy and already part of the family.

Little Red Fox (formerly Indy)

We adopted Little Red Fox eighteen months ago and I can say, without exaggeration, that he has taught our family the true meaning of, “Man’s Best Friend.”  Fox is an intelligent, energetic, friendly, and gentle little dog that loves other dogs as much as people.  We couldn’t ask for a better companion for our six year old daughter.  He takes all of her “love” in stride with that classic Pom smile on his face.

From day one, Fox was perfectly housebroken.  I can count the number of accidents he’s had in the house on one hand.  For example, last week, he had an upset stomach and asked to go outside.  It was cold and he stayed out in the backyard for a long time.  I was worried that he’d get too cold, so I went out and brought him in.  He just wanted back outside, so I let him out again.  He wanted back out because, apparently, he hadn’t yet thrown up and did not want to do so in the house.  Sure enough, about five minutes later, he threw up and came back to the back door.  How many dogs would go to that much effort not to throw up in the house?  Not many.

Fox comes to my office with me during the day and sleeps in our bedroom at night.  He loves to be around the family and, as much as we can, we let him.  He has become an integral part of our family.  I can’t imagine how we ever got along without him.  I’ve never had a dog before that was so confident, while also so friendly and eager to please.  If there’s a dog hall of fame out there, Fox belongs in it.

Thanks Atlanta Pet Rescue!

Regards,

Mark W.

Simon

Hi!  My name is Simon and my  mom adopted me almost 9 months ago from APR.

I am a very lucky little dog and love my new life. My mom  takes me to the little dog park in Smyrna and also takes me to daycare to play with all of my new friends. I have lots of energy and tons of love to share.

My mom says I changed her life for the better…….I think that is good! Thanks APR for helping me find a loving home.

Flynn

Today is Flynn's second anniversary and oh what a two years it's been! He has gone from being extremely sick with environmental allergies and cancer, to a happy little playful guy no longer sick and in pain.

He likes to take Maesey's toys and then run so she will chase him, laughing all the way.

Each day with Flynn is a gift, and Maesey and I just love him more and more! Thank you APR, you do great things for both people and our pets!

Just wanted you to know that Zeus has a new friend..... Champ the Blue Great Dane and is doing wonderfully!

Zeus loves to run and play tug of war. He gives lots of kisses and loves to sleep on mommy's bed when no one is looking!!

Thanks APR for giving us the opportunity to show Zeus what love is all about!!

Jasmine (formerly Imogene)

I just wanted to send you some pictures of Jasmine, whom I adopted in March, 2005.  I love her so very much and she loves me just as much.  She is just such a joy and gives me so much love that it is hard to believe.  I'm so very lucky that she is mine, thanks to Gigi.  I can never thank her enough for giving me my little girl.  And yes, I mean little girl.  I'm so very glad that she chose me too.  You both took a chance on a first time dog owner.  I just wanted to let you know she is not only loved, but cherished as well.

We just came back from spending time in Kissimmee, FL for the Christmas holiday.  She got a chance to meet her cousins Jada and Leah.  They had a good time and got along great, as you can see.  It was great seeing her interact with other dogs and I'm sure she enjoyed it as well.

Hey, my turn.  Jasmine here.  Hello APR.  I'm doing well and am very happy with my Mom.  She spoils me rotten and I love it.   Listen, I just didn't want my picture taken in that outfit.  It was just a little too much and I had to let her know it.  LOL.   Plus, I just didn't want to be embarrassed in front of my cousins.  Thank you for helping find my forever home.

Salanda V. and Jasmine

Woodrow (formerly Josh)

Woodrow and I are approaching our first anniversary together (Jan. 23). He is my constant companion and I don’t know what I would do without him. He’s a healthy, happy little guy and he goes to work with me every day. APR has my best wishes for a wonderful New Year!

Best regards,

Susie P.
