When Rad came to us, he was quite under the weather. Tests showed he had major heart damage due to heart worms. We decided the right thing to do was to treat Rad. Knowing the success rate was 50/50 we wanted to give this young pup a fighting chance at a new life-heartworm free.
Unfortunately, his heart was not strong enough for the treatment and due to major complications, Rad passed over the Rainbow Bridge today surrounded by his loving foster family. Below is a loving tribute to Rad from his foster family. If you would like to leave a flower in memory of Rad, you can click HERE to visit his Rainbow Bridge page.

We officially launched our Mercy Memorial Fund at our Rescues on the Runway event. For those who don’t know, Mercy was APRA’s first Pitbull who we rescued from animal control last year. The Mercy Memorial fund was developed not only to honor Mercy’s life but also to help many future special needs animals. 100% of all money raised for this Read »
